Oh well, I guess I didnt do much yesterday, and the day before, but I really enjoyed the dinner last night. We colleagues went to MIND cafe to celebrate Jing Liang's 21st birthday, and it was also some sort of a farewell dinner. The cafe had games such as Monopoly, Snort, Life, Taboo, etc. We played Snort and one other acting game, called 'Say What?'. Say What was rather fun, as we all had to pick up a card with the right side facing others, such that we only knew another's card content. Also, the objective of the game is to make to opponent say or act out the word on the card. One of my colleagues, Jamie, had the card with the word 'bad' on it. And Jasmine, boy is she good at this! She had barely started a conversation with her, and already Jamie said the word 'bad'. Khim Hong, had the word 'girl' on his card. I felt it was rather easy, but I couldn't start a conversation as he was sitting too far away. i wish i did though! Xianglin had the word 'drink', and well I guess I learn from the best,(cos Jasmine was sitting beside ME!) and I managed to get her to say it! YAY! Snort was a much nicer game, whereby we all had to remember other's animal sounds and make that particular sound if he/she has the same card as you. I nearly lost! There was this time where all the cards were piling on my stack. Luckily I managed to push them all away to Lionel..cos he wasnt paying attention(oops sorry lionel) Haha..

06/06/06

Today is the 6 June 2006!!! 06/06/06! Nice date. Unfortunately, these dates only lasts for 12 years. So far, 6 years have gone by, so we have only another 6 more years to come across these beautiful dates. Wow. I really had no idea how fast time keeps flying past. Then there's the second econs quiz tomorrow. AND next Wednesday, till the mid term. But it doesn't end just yet. I met up with Celestine yesterday, and we had loads of fun playing pool, and swimming in the pool. Haha. It rhymes. Went to the Esplanade again. Hmm, I guess the Esplanade is becoming my favourite place. Walked around the clark quay or boat quay area, think it's clark quay. And, I saw this really HUGE statue, at first I couldnt make out what it was, partly because I didnt look at the entire statue. I only saw the BiG bottom part of it. But when I finally looked at the entire statue, I realised it was a bird, with really huge feet. Turns out I was right in thinking that the feet resembled a bird's feet. Then, I went to the Fullerton Hotel for a while, to enjoy the cool environment and also to look at the koi. The koi were very friendly, and there was a really fat white koi. I tried to pat its head, then all the koi swam towards me, thinking my hand was food! Luckily they dont have teeth!
